Bioprocessor

BioProcessors provides SimCell solutions to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with a proven platform to exponentially increase experimental throughput and to enable scalability to production bioreactors at optimized yields. 


Ciphergen

Ciphergen (NASDAQ: CIPH) is a leading provider of enabling tools and collaborative services in the emerging field of protein-based biology research, known as proteomics. Ciphergen develops and manufactures a ProteinChip® System that helps researchers understand the role of proteins in the biology of disease, such as monitoring disease progression and the therapeutic effects of drugs.


Confluent Surgical

Confluent Surgical markets synthetic, polymer-based, sprayable adhesion barriers and surgical sealants. These materials have potential applications across minimally invasive surgery in adhesion prevention, as sealants and hemostats, and in interventional procedures. Confluent was sold to the U.S. Surgical division of Tyco International in August 2006.

EXACT Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ: EXAS) is an applied genomics company whose mission is to play a leading role in the eradication of common cancers by applying advances in the field of genomics to facilitate early detection of disease.


Guava

IntelliDx

Spinal Concepts was sold to Abbott Laboratories in 2003.

Spinal Kinetics Develops innovative and practical motion preservation systems for treating degenerative diseases of the spine.


Valeritas

Valeritas develops proprietary drug delivery systems for Type 2 diabetes and metabolic diseases.
